DELICIOUS CUPCAKES CLASS AT BAGUS BAKERY SHAH ALAM on APRIL 8, 2011

Salam, dear friends!

Welcome again to another Norbaini Cakes blog post!

Today's class at Bagus Bakery Shah Alam was a first for Chef Baini....in the sense that Chef Baini taught her first Delicious Cupcakes class. Chef Baini had to experiment a few times with the recipes and only after getting The Babams's seal of approval would she be ready to release the recipes. And some of you may wonder why The Babams is the size that he is!

Actually Chef Baini wasn't sure at first on the the cupcakes class, whether it would be well received or not.

You see, Chef Baini is mostly known as a Cake Decorater, and not a Baker. Some might wonder if Chef Baini is good at making cakes tastes good as she is good at making them look good. 

But good isn't good enough. Chef Baini's products must taste great!  

That's her commitment to all her friends, old and new for their unwavering support!

Today's class features 6 cupcake recipes:

1) Peanut Butter Cupcake

2)Ferrero Roche Cupcake

3)Red Velvet Cupcake

4)Carrot Cupcake

5)Brownies Cupcake

6)Black Bottom Cupcake

Today's class was a semi-hands on class, which means that some students get to do the batching, baking etc. Usually, Chef Baini asks for volunteers from amongst the group....you can see below who they are:

Cupcake:Red Velvet & Carrot Cupcake with Cream Cheese Topping

Cupcake:Black Bottom Cupcake

Cupcake:Peanut Butter Cupcake with Peanut Butter Cream Cheese

and finally, Cupcake:Brownies Cupcake

Alhamdullillah, everyone said the cupcakes tasted great. Chef Baini takes great pride in this accomplishment, though its not often that she gets to toot her own horn! Well, once in a while is alright!

Due to the requests for this class, Chef Baini is forced to schedule another class for May , 2011 as the April 2011 Delicious Cupcakes Homeclass is way, way overbooked! Don't worry, dear friends! There will be another one in May also! Stay tuned for details!
