KEBAYA CAKE PREPARATION

Salam, Everyone!

You've seen these kinds of pictures before....
Chef Baini's hands-on demonstration of cake decoration...

So today, Chef Baini would like to do something different for her blog....
A pictorial outline for the necessary equipment for working these cakes.

Not to be a MOTO (Master of the Obvious), but here's the cake, first of all, in the oven...

Surely everyone knows that one of the keys to good work or that of craftmanship is ORGANISATION. So as you can see below, you don't really need a lot of space for working a kebaya cake....

The worktable measures just 4 feet by 2 feet....
plus all the equipment, tools and materials fits snugly on either side....
Here's a close-up of the the left hand side:
we have the turntable, the rolling pin,
the crafting tools ( that is, the sculpting knife, spatula, etc.),
and the measuring tape....

On the right hand side we have the materials required
( that is, the fondant all balled up, the lacework icing, the paint brushetc.)

Here's a top view of the worktable...you can see the mat
with the circles of different circumferences...

Everything you need is within arm's reach...
SO IF YOU ARE PROPERLY ORGANISED,
YOU WON'T NEED A LOT OF SPACE...
(THEREFORE YOU SHOULDN'T BE MAKING
A MESS WHEN YOU'RE DONE!)

However, what would Chef Baini's blog be without highlights of her students work!
So it is with great pride that Chef Baini presents the Kebaya Cake Hal of Fame!
